Brandon Freeman
Church Planting Pastor
Brandon Freeman came to faith in Christ through hearing the gospel at a youth camp in middle school. He and his wife, Kaylee, are both from Arkansas. From 2018–2024, Brandon and Kaylee were members of Liberty Baptist Church where Brandon served as a pastor before planting Heritage Baptist Church in 2025. Brandon holds an BA from Ouachita Baptist University and has an MDiv and PhD from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Kaylee have three children: Hensley, Susie, and Millie.
Aaron Trent
Church Planting Pastor
Aaron Trent came to faith in Christ at a young age through the ministry of his parents and local church. After graduating from Kansas State University, he served on staff with a collegiate ministry for 11 years. In 2021, Aaron and his wife, Grace, moved to Kansas City and became members at Liberty Baptist Church where Aaron served as a pastor. Aaron holds an MDiv from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and Grace have five children: Shepard, Margot, Sola, Ransom, and Naomi.
